The Task:  Report to the Imperial Master

You will view the movies Jurassic Park and Erin Brockovich and then complete a PowerPoint presentation as outlined in The Process section.  Your final product will depend on the Process you have been assigned or have chosen.

All processes will include a multimedia presentation in which you will relate what you have learned about the morals of earthlings by viewing these movies.

You must advise your planet as to the advantages and hazards of contact with earthlings based on their ethical and/or unethical habits.

You will:

• (1) fill out the  Task Sheets,
• (2) write a brief reaction paper (in Word),
• (3) participate in online and email discussions with other students and then 
• (3) use PowerPoint to complete your assignment. 

Your PowerPoint product will need to included:

• a minimum of 15 PowerPoint slides
  • transitions
  • sound (movie dialogue, your recorded narration, etc.)
• scanned or downloaded still and/or animated images

Remember, the purpose of your PowerPoint is to convey to your planet whether Earth should be destroyed or spared.

Your PowerPoint will be graded using this criteria.
