Take a look at the materials from the ETTC Middlesex workshop Surviving in the One-Computer Classroom: Instructional Strategies and Basic Troubleshooting.   There are four documents:

Classroom management issues: Some tips on where to put the computer, what hardware to buy, how to store student work, etc.

Ideas for using one computer with 25 students: A list of ways to use a single computer with a whole class of students.

Troubleshooting tips: Even a computer novice can fix many problems.

Internet resources for the one-computer classroom: A page of links to sites with resources to help a teacher with a computer in the classroom.
