The goal of the Middlesex ETTC is to provide for continuous K-12 educational
improvement through the effective use of technology to achieve the New Jersey Core
Curriculum Content Standards.
The ETTCs activities are divided into four main areas:
-
- The Center provides training for employees of school districts within Middlesex County.
In addition to the courses listed in the catalog, we can provide customized training on a
limited basis. Take a look at our current calendar of
workshops.
-
- The Center collects information on using technology in the classroom, which is available
in the Center and on our curriculum
page.
-
- The Center makes available a variety of hardware and software products for evaluation
purposes. In addition, we conduct a number of demonstrations of successful uses of technology in the classroom.
-
- The Center can respond directly to district needs for consultation in technology
planning and implementation.

technology runs from elementary through college levels. She has worked with

What we are
The ETTC site contains a training lab, resource center and office. The training lab is
a network of 24 computers, connected to the Internet.
The resource center is an area for educators to visit and see technology resources for
educators. Resources available include computer hardware and software, distance learning
systems, and technology literature. In the coming months, we will schedule demonstrations
in the center, and it will be open for educators to drop in and test the hardware and
software.
Where we are
The ETTC is located in the BOE
Administration Building in East
Brunswick, approximately 6 miles from the junction of the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 18.
